Since 1968 – the year in which the group was established by the
entrepreneur Romano Sghedoni in Sassuolo,
in the heart of the world’s most important ceramic district –
Kerakoll has gradually expanded its presence on the domestic and
international construction market.
Kerakoll today has three
Business Units, focused on Tile Installation, Construction and
Surfaces. With international expansion,
the group has grown from
around €11 million in 1990 to over €770 million at present – 41%
of which is in overseas markets
and today employs over 2,300
people, on 3 continents and 9 time zones.
